I was watching a Nikki Tutorials video she posted a little while ago and she actually posted this really cool looking special effect makeup. I say special effects, but she doesn’t really use anything other than body paint in the video. So I figured I would recreate the look!
However, before posting the pictures I gotta give credit where credit is due. Nikki actually is the one that was inspired by the original creator of the look. So it isn’t my original creation at all. It was actually @Artbybmaz on Instagram.
(This is who Nikki gave original credit to)
I thought this turned out pretty cool looking. Of course, the fold of the skin is something I will have to work on. Overall I thought it did turn out pretty well.
I know it’s not my original look, but I came up with a little symbolic thing for this. Trying to show people they need to be careful who you believe. People can portray themselves to be one thing, but they can be the exact opposite. Just like this Devil taking off its disguise as an Angel.
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
2 Corinthians 11:13-14
In this chapter in 2 Corinthians, Paul warns about false apostles of Christ. These are the people whom say they are Disciples of Christ. At first they will say all the right things. They build up their reputation as a devoted follower of Christ and start doing things in Christs’ name. Starting out, these people will do good things to get people to follow them. Telling others that God sent them to do these things. Then little by little, they start condemning people and telling people to do things that goes against what God’s word stands for. It might not seem like what they are saying and doing is going against God’s word. That’s because the person claiming to be Disciples of Christ is really the manipulating champion. The followers are being deceived because they truly believe that God sent them to do these things. Which brings these people into the grasp of Satan. He portrays himself as this divine beauty to the human race.
It might seem impossible that people can be this blind to the evil in the world. Though, people usually try to find the good or the light in others. Many will only recognize evil if it declares itself as evil.
the only thing we can do it to keep our trust in Christ and to be careful what you believe other people saying.
Even if you are not religious, you can still use this lesson for everyday life. Trust your intuition and be careful who you believe.
Follow your dreams and never give up!
