St. Patrick’s Day Makeup Tutorial

Hello Beautiful Butterflies!!

St. Patties Day is just around the corner and a lot of people are already getting prepared! Everyone will be buying green clothing and/or accessories. But instead of buying green shirts and accessories you will only wear once this year, why not buy some green makeup instead? You could do amazing things with some green eyeshadow! Here is one look you can do:

At first I didn’t know where I was going with it, it was basically me just playing with makeup. But in the end, I think it turned out pretty cool. I decided that I wanted my eyelids to be leprechauns and my inner corners to be a pot of gold. If you wanna know how to do this look, keep reading!

The first think you want to do is prime your eyes. It can be with whatever you want, as long as you prime them. We don’t want creases in our makeup.

The next thing is to take a large or small dome brush with the green eyeshadow on it and you wanna make an upside-down ‘u’ shape with the shadow in your crease.

After you make your upside-down ‘u’ shape grab the same color on the same brush to build up the color. To get the shadow a little bit darker then grab a darker green and apply it in the upside-down ‘u’ shape. If you want it a little more darker, then grab a tiny bit of black with a small dome brush and sweep it in the middle of the ‘u’ shape. Then take the large dome brush with a little bit of the green eyeshadow on it, and blend the black into the green.

The next thing you want to work with is you overall lid color. I opted for a light green and swept it over my lids with a regular eyeshadow brush. Once I built up the light green to my liking, I applied a yellow-green over top with the same brush. Then I took a very light yellow color on a regular fluffy brush and applied it to my brow bone. To tone down the yellow of the eyeshadow, I applied an eyeshadow shade that was similar to my skin tone over the top. I used the same brush as well.

For my inner corner, I took a mustard yellow eyeshadow with a thin angled brush.

Then apply some Eyeliner and mascara and you are good to go! I also ran some of the green eyeshadow through my eyebrows to complete this crazy look. I actually, really like this makeup look. It’s always fun to work with crazy, fun colors!
