Dr. Seuss’ Things Inspired Makeup

Hello Beautiful Butterflies!

A couple of weeks ago, on February 12th, I went to my former high school to watch their spring musical. This year they performed Seussical the Musical. I’m kinda sad they decided to perform this after I graduated, but everyone who was in it and everyone who made it possible did very well! I actually cried at the end, it was so good. Maybe it was because I missed being in my high school drama class, or maybe it was because it was actually that good.

Anyways after I got home from the musical, I went straight to Google images, grabbed my sketching notebook, and started drawing. This was one of the looks I came up with.

If you couldn’t guess, this is Dr. Seuss’ Thing character. I absolutely love Dr. Seuss, even though people say he was crazy for writing the books. But at least everyone knows his books!

I didn’t want to make this a tutorial because I figured that people wouldn’t want to learn how to do this crazy look. However, if anyone wants me to do a tutorial for this look let me know! I will be more than happy to actually do it!

My favorite character is the Things from Cat and the Hat and my favorite book is either Fox in Socks and Green Eggs and Ham. What is your favorite Dr. Seuss book and your favorite character?
