On The Third Day of Christmas…

It’s not Christmas without great songs to sing along to. It’s a great way for everyone to get into the Christmas spirit. Besides, the best way to spread Christmas Cheer is singing loud for all to hear! So sing as loud as you can, wake up your neighbors, and spread Christmas Cheer (Maybe don’t try to wake up your neighbors, it could end badly…). Here are a few songs I love to sing along to when it’s Christmas time:

Go Tell It on the Mountain by Dolly Parton

Go, Tell It On The Mountain,
Over the hills and everywhere;
Go, Tell It On The Mountain
That Jesus Christ is born.

Night Devine by Tia Mowry-Hardrict

Oh holy night! The stars are brightly shining
It is the night of the dear Savior’s birth
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
Till He appeared and the soul felt its worth
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn

Nine Little Reindeer by Conway Twitty

A long long time ago,
As all you folks should know
Ol’ Santa started loading up his sleigh.
A smile on every face,
Each reindeer took his place,
To bring us joy on Christmas Day.
With one little, two little, three little reindeer,
Four little, five little, six little reindeer,
Seven little, eight little, yes eight little reindeer
Pulling Santa’s sleigh.

Song of the Week:

Snow for Johnny by Conway Twitty

The Conway Twitty A Twistmas Story was one of my favorite Christmas album of all time as a kid. My family and I would always decorate our trees listening to the album. When you listen to the whole album it’s like a story – Conway, Tweety Bird, and the Tweety birdies go and explore the North Pole. It’s absolutely amazing. We lost the original album when we moved years ago. The newer one isn’t as good as the older version, in my opinion.

Keeping Christ in Christmas

“She will give birth to a son, and you are to name Him Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.”
(Matthew 1:21)

I got my first Christmas package yesterday! I was so excited to tear into it and see what was in it!! Of course I already knew, but I was still excited.. It was like Christmas morning!! It was my first time I bought something from The Body Shop. And I have to say, it all smelled VERY nice!

I absolutely love Christmas songs, if you couldn’t already tell. What is your favorite Christmas song? Make sure you come back tomorrow for another post!! Hint: Fun things to do.

Until tomorrow!

Follow your dreams and never give up!!
