Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall

This picture was taken in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.

Autumn is right around the corner, getting ready to submerge us in a sea of beautiful fall colors. Some of us are thrilled for all the amazing pumpkin recipes to come. However, many others dread fall to come. They often associate fall with two months until the “c-word.”
Here are three tips on how to fully appreciate the Autumn season.
Tip #1: Try not to think about the “c-word” right now. People often get stressed over this holiday. Take it easy for now, you have two other holidays to celebrate. Also, there is over 100 days between you and the “c-word.”
Tip #2: Dress for the temperature! Most places the temperature starts to drop. Dressing for the temperature can be tricky. Depending on where you live, the days will feel perfect. Not too hot, not too cold.ย  A pair of nice shorts and a nice shirt would be good to run around in. However, once it turns night, it can be freezing in just shorts and a shirt. You can always bring an extra pair of clothes with you.
Tip #3: Try not to bring Summer colors to fall. This is to mentally get into the season more. If you paint you’re nails a bright sky blue, you will want to go to the beach and soak up the sun; rather than wanting to hand out candy to Trick-or-Treaters.
There are many other ways to get into the season. These are just a few tips I think could help people. There are plenty more I will share at a later time. Until then, Happy Autumn Season!! Follow your dreams, and never give up hope.
